15 political parties in Ekiti State have adopted and promised their support for the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Ekiti South Senatorial District in Saturday’s election, Senator Abiodun Olujimi, on the ground that her tenure as a Senator has brought lots of infrastructural development not only to Ekiti South but Ekiti State as a whole.
Parties involved in the merger include Accord Party and 14 others; ACPN, Zenith Labour Party, MMN, Independent Democratic Party, PDM, AGAP,
PDC, APGA, DPC, HDP, GPN, DA, APA and the Action Democratic Party (ADP).
That parties speaking through Chief Abiola Ode-Oba, the Chairman of the coalition group and Chairman, Accord Party and Mr Alokan Joshua, the chairman of GPN and Secretary of the Coalition group said they are passionate about Ekiti Development Agenda.

“Our interest is not about any political party but individuals that can deliver the dividend of democracy to Ekiti People. We have been following political trends in Ekiti State with particular reference to Ekiti South Senatorial District and found that Senator Biodun Olujimi of PDP stands out among other contestants on the following grounds.
“She has engaged in internal road constructions in towns and villages in the district, provision of motorised solar powered boreholes and empowerments as well as human capital developments among others.
“That to enable her to continue in the good works, the 15 political parties have decided to endorse her for another term as the Senator Representing Ekiti South Senatorial District of Ekiti State under the umbrella of PDP and we direct our members and admires across the South Senatorial District of Ekiti State to support her,” they said.
