Oyo/Osun auto crash: 4 survivors moved to hospital in Ife, 1 to Osogbo Catholic hospital

Five persons survived the auto mishap that claimed eight lives around Arolu local government of Oyo State, involving yam powder (elubo) traders, from Osun State on Tuesday, Nigerian Tribune investigation has revealed.

When Tribune Online visited Our Lady of Fatimah Catholic Hospital, Osogbo Jaleyemi, Osogbo, capital of Osun State it discovered that out of five traders that survived the ghastly motor accident, four of them who sustained severe injuries have been moved to an undisclosed hospital in Ile-Ife, while the remaining one was spotted in the female ward, wearing cervical collar.

Some of the relations and friends of the survivors, who spoke under condition of anonymity expressed hope that they would recuperate soon.

A relative of the one still being treated at Our Lady of Fatimah Catholic hospital said in Yoruba language that “Iya Sadeeq ate some raps of Amala not quite long ago.”

However, a doctor was also spotted inquiring about how the patient was faring.
