Zone 13 Police PRO, Josephine Ihuniwo, bags well-dressed officer of the year award

The Public Relations Officer of zone 13, Nigerian Police Force NPF Ukpo, Anambra State, SP Josephine Ihuniwo, has been honored with the award of well-dressed officer of the year 2024, by World Peace Advocate.

It was gathered that the event, held at the zone 13 headquarters Ukpo, on Tuesday and attended by distinguished personalities, showcased Ihuniwo’s exceptional public relations contributions and unwavering commitment to the Police Force in Nigeria.

Speaking to Journalists shortly after receiving the award, Ihuniwo shared insights into the driving forces behind her professional success.

According to her, “This accolade not only acknowledges my dedication but also inspires me to elevate my contributions further.

“My motivation comes from a deep passion for my work and the unwavering support of my dedicated team,”

She attributed the honour to the collaborative efforts of her colleagues in the information unit of the zone and the country at large.

“This recognition is a testament to the collective efforts of my team, serving as a motivating force to strive for excellence.”

She expressed gratitude for the motivational guidance she has been receiving from the Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG in charge of the Zone, AIG Godwin Aghaulor and the entire personnel in the zone.

“Dressing well and looking good always is one of my major hubby, even before enrolling into the Nigerian Police Force.

“I believe in getting the best out of my work, and this passion, combined with the support of my Ogas, the AIG Aghaulor and the guidance from my family has been the driving force behind my success.

“I personally extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Kayode Egbetokun and particularly, the Force Police Public Relations Officer, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi for his unwavering support, acknowledging his pivotal role in his accomplishments as the direct supervisor of the Nigerian Police Public Relations Unit.

While commending the United Nations, World Peace Advocate and the Egyptian Embassy for finding her Worthy of the honored after a thorough online selection/voting, the ZPPRO also urged them to continue appreciating the dedication and enthusiasm of media practitioners and agencies in the World.

She again emphasized the need to sustain a culture of recognition for those making significant contributions in their respective fields.

In her brief speech, the award presenter, Amb. Karen James, said the purpose of the award is not only to celebrate an individual’s achievement alone, but also to highlighted the collaborative spirit and dedication within the Nigerian Police Force, reinforcing their commitment to excellence while in service.
