Zara Ozay, a graduate of Accountancy from Igbinedion University, has been working silently on his craft for years, but believes the time for him to express his music ability is as he puts final touches to his new projects that will be released any time from now.
Speaking with R, the musician, who recorded his first song in 2011 as an undergraduate, said he never took music seriously until 2014 after he was involved in series of shows and musical performances as he would later approach his uncle, who invested in his music career.
Signed to Mula Gang Entertainment, a record label owned by his uncle, Ozay is ready to take his music career to the next level even as he hinted that the competition in the industry would enhance his performance and help him grow faster musically.
“It has been a long time coming for me as fas as music is concerned but I don’t want to dwell on where I am coming from but where I intend to go. I am signed under Mula Gang Entertainment and the label is also home to another three acts, who are doing fine with their career at the moment. For me, the time to launch myself on the music scene is now and all I can say is that I am ready to take over,” he said.
