Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, has approved the appointment of 12 new Permanent Secretaries in the state civil service.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Senior Special Assistant on Media, Suleiman Ahmad Tudu, the Office of the Secretary to the Zamfara State Government said the appointment aims to boost the administrative capacity of the government for improved service delivery to the people of the state.
According to him, the Secretary to the Zamfara State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammad Nakwada, noted that the appointment followed due process coordinated by the Office of the Head of the State Civil Service.

The newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Muhammad Salihu, Sani Abubakar, Hassan Shehu Usman, Engr. Haruna Dikko, Dr. Abubakar Muhammad, and Aminu Almajir.
The rest include Dr. Yakubu Sanusi, Maryam Shantali, Sa’adatu Abdu Gusau, Suwaiba Ibrahim Barau, Rilwanu Musa, and Sanusi Bello Jabaka.
The Office of the Head of Service will formally issue appointment letters to the appointees, after which all necessary onboarding formalities will be completed.
While appreciating the efforts of all those who participated in the process, Governor Lawal charged the appointees to bring their wealth of experience and expertise to enhance the productivity of the state civil service in line with best practices.
