YSDM moves to tackle saboteurs within its ranks

Published by

The Yoruba Self Determination Movement (YSDM) has condemned the presence of saboteurs within its ranks who are out to frustrate the aims and objectives of the organisation.

The condemnation was made during a virtual press conference anchored recently by Moses the General-Secretary of the organisation, Abiodun Ojo and attended by other stakeholders.

Addressing the Yoruba populace both home and abroad, Ojo expressed the urgent need to confront internal and external threats to the Yoruba struggle for self-determination.

He highlighted the persistent frustration experienced by the Yoruba people since Nigeria’s independence in 1960, citing foreign imperialists and domestic traitors as obstacles to achieving a free and just society.

“Our struggle for self-determination has been hindered by foreign and domestic enemies.

Ojo accused certain Yoruba individuals of collaborating with these external forces for personal gain, labeling them as “enemies within.”

“The Yoruba Nation struggle is nearing its victorious end,” Ojo asserted. “We must confront these forces of evil with overwhelming disclosures in the public space and engage them with our weapon of truth.”

He urged all Yoruba citizens to remain vigilant and united in the face of adversity.

Also speaking, Chief Ola Ademola, the Vice-Chairman of YSDM, said:“We cannot afford to overlook the threats posed by those within our own community. Unity and vigilance are paramount in safeguarding our collective interests. Let us remember that our strength lies in our unity, and we must remain steadfast in our commitment to the Yoruba cause.”

Present at the press briefing were the  Publicity Director of YSDM, Yeyedara and other notable sons and daughters of Yorubalanf from around the world, underscoring the widespread concern and determination within the Yoruba community to confront challenges and advance their aims and objectives.
