Youths urged to embrace purpose, build legacies

The importance of prioritizing purpose over material wealth in the pursuit of lasting legacies and personal excellence was a key message at the recently concluded Socially Speaking Conference held at the Waterfall Event Center, Oregun, Lagos.

The event attracted youth mentors, dynamic speakers, and young participants from across the city.

The convener, Ms. Wealth Gbenga-Igbafen, led the charge in creating a platform for transformative discussions aimed at equipping young people with essential life skills through multi-session workshops.

The conference addressed pivotal topics such as personal discipline, effective networking, spiritual growth, personal hygiene, and career development.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions designed to foster personal and professional growth.

A standout moment of the event was the networking session, where attendees exchanged contacts and established connections that many described as invaluable for their future endeavors.

One of the high points of the day was a lucky draw, which rewarded four participants with cash prizes of ₦50,000 each, adding a celebratory end to the impactful event.

Reflecting on the experience, attendees lauded the conference as life-changing, with many pledging to apply the lessons learned in their personal and professional lives.
