Young Africans innovators recognised with CEO awards in Uganda

The organisers of the annual Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards and Summit have released the list of 2024 award recipients who were conferred with the prestigious honour on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in Kampala, Uganda.

Mayorkings Agency Group, which hosts the award ceremony annually, said Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards and Summit is a top-notch continental award event and ranking that identifies, showcases, honours, and celebrates young Africans who are mostly influential, established, and accomplished young business leaders under the age of 40.

They are selected across various industries as people who have demonstrated commitment to business growth, development, professional excellence, community service, and philanthropy.

A statement released on Wednesday by the company reads, “The event and rankings aim to encourage and promote young African champions globally as well as bridging a room for networking, collaboration, and unity of purpose amongst successful young Africans for the sole agenda of the advancement of the African continent.

“Mayorkings Agency Group, together with our Partners Globally and Our Highly Committed Award Screening Committee and jury, are 100% committed to honouring and Celebrating only Deserving Young Africans at each edition of the Prestigious event, and Rankings drawn from different countries in Africa,” the statement noted.

Recipients of Prestigious Africa’s Under 40 CEOs Awards 2024 are also awarded an honorary Degree (PhD) from Prowess University Delaware USA, as Well as Fellows of the Global Institute of Leadership and Governance South Africa.

Recipients of the award include Kalu Joseph Ude, Earnest Osas Amuyinegbe, Ikenna Godspower Irikannu, Nkem Imarue, Valeen Oseh, and Oluwaseun Amos Durojaye, Olaleye Temitope Mary, Olatunji Seun Paul
Samson Uloho, Chioma Okezue, Ronke Suzan Bodamisi, Kolade Junaid, Olamide Junaid, Promise Ovai Kenneth-Odum, Tseghomi Jibrin Oteri.

Others are Fidelia Omodoro Adeseye – Ogunlewe, Laura Okoro, Gladys Emokpaire, Faith Osayi, Nkechi Blessing Sunday, Abimbola Adedolapo Adenuga, Adesola Adeyemi, Durojaye Olive Chioma, Fatoumatta Gaye, Gina Ehikodi Ojo, Richard Mogire, Mark Nuguti, Lamidi Sikira, Emmanuel Abel Ndukwe, Siza Cassandra Mkoma, and Jabulile Sande.

While others include Violet Kwamboka Oigara, Zita Minaj, Talifhani Mamafha, and Atinuke Stanley-Pepple,
