You have led Nigeria to an unprecedented height, Gov Bindow to Buhari

THE executive Governor of Adamawa State, Senator Muhammadu Umar Jibrilla Bindow while congratulating President Muhammadu Buhari on his re-election said he led the country on an unprecedented level of development.

In a statement by his Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, Macauley Hunohashi,  Governor Bindow said, Buhari’s success at the just-concluded polls is a reflection of his good and visionary leadership over the last four years.

“You have led Nigeria and our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) to an unprecedented height within fours years, and in so doing, written the most important chapter of our democracy,” Bindow added.

He also urged Nigerians to remain calm and peaceful during this process of electioneering stressing that, “this election has further demonstrated that democracy has come to stay in our country.”

Bindow further commended the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, over the conduct of the poll, the security outfits and urged other candidates to take the outcome as the yearnings of Nigerians.

President Buhari won the election as he polled 15,191,847 votes to defeat Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who polled 11,262,978 to lose the election with a margin of 3,928,869 votes.
