Yobe gov approves appointment of directors, others to state’s 17 LGs

The Executive Governor of Yobe state Hon. Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment and posting of directors personal management and treasurers to the seventeen local government areas of the state.

In a release signed and issued to newsmen by the permanent secretary ministry for local government and chieftaincy affairs, Alhaji Ibrahim Abba Gaidam indicated that the directors personal and the treasurers were drawn from the unified local government service.

The directors personal management appointed and posted are Adamu A Dagona Nguru, Muhammad Mele Gaidam, Abubakar M B Disa Gulani, Iliyasu Ahmed Maluri Potiskum, Abubakar Muhammad Kolere Damaturu, Baffa Adam Gaidam Yunusari, and Bukar Kagu Goji Bursari local government areas.

Others are Abdu Mainasara Bumsa Jakusko, Bakura Usman Fika, Sheriff Adam Gasma Bade, Baba Shehu Bukar ll Yusufari, Ligali A Dugu Tarmuwa, Salisu Chiromari Machina local government areas.

Also on the list include Ibrahim Abubakar Yayangida Nangere, Muhammad Harande Mai Turare Fine, Audu Zanna Bura Gujba, and Suntalma Lawan Yusufari Karasuwa local government areas respectively.

The list of the treasurers are Fatsuma Ibrahim Bade, Goni Usman Kachalla Potiskum, Kulloma Umara Bursari, Muhammad Audu Gadaka Nangere, Baba Umaru Tarmuwa,and Malam Baba Mai Bunu Gujba local government areas.

Others include Modu M Mutai Damaturu, Jafaru Muhammad Kukuwa Fika, Musa Hassan El badawy Gulani, Lawan Baba Zau Gaidam, and Abba Muhammad Gana Karasuwa.

Also on the list are Haruna M Buba Nguru, Ibrahim Bawa Aminu Yunusari, Wakil A Maidami Machina, Galadima Haruna Dawaki Jakusko, Alhaji Modu Bulama Yusufari, and Bukar A B Liman Fune local government areas respectively.

The release directed the current directors personal and treasurers drawn from the state civil service to report back to their respective MDAs after handing over their offices to the posted officers.

The governor, therefore, conveyed his administration’s appreciation for their contributions of the outgoing directors personal and treasurers to the development of their respective local government areas of assignment and wishing them the best in their future endeavours.

All handing and taking over formalities should be completed on or before 31st October 2019 the statement added.
