YIF set to crown first Most Beautiful Yoruba Girl

Yoruba Indigenes Foundation (YIF) has called for applications from Yoruba girls between the ages of 18 and 35 from different quarters of the south-western states for this year’s Most Beautiful Yoruba Girl 2018 (Omidan Arewa Yoruba 2018).

Speaking at a briefing in Lagos, The National President, YIF, Comrade Aderibole Olumide said that the most beautiful Yoruba girl was first inaugurated in 2016 as the first edition, while the 2018 edition is to mark the foundation’s 10th year anniversary.

He added that the anniversary will also empower the girls out of the streets, saying that there is already an arrangement made with the Federal Institute of Research Oshodi (FIIRO), The Nigeria Export Promotion Council (NEPC) and Bank of Industry (BOI) towards the training of girls after the event.

The President expressed that the auditioning and the screening of the Most Beautiful Girl will be done throughout the six south west states comprising Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, and Lagos states while Edo, Delta, Kwara and Kogi states will also be included in the auditioning and screening.

Comrade Aderibole explained that the YIF has over four million members in Nigeria and Diaspora, adding that the foundation is a pan yoruba non-political, socio-cultural and economic development organization that seeks to advance the cause of yoruba across the globe.

«This we have consistently and successfully done for ten years. The Foundation is present in Nigeria, Europe, North, and South America, West Indies and in Australia. Conferences and seminars have been held on the way forward to improving the wellbeing of the yorubas in Nigeria and in the Diaspora».

«The Concert is in its  15th edition and gave  accolades to Pst. Mrs Amaka Aliu of Adonai›s Path Church. Pst. Kunle Kunbi RCCG Anointed Chapel Kubwa, Elder Idoko, and many churches.

He revealed that his new single release «ILE ILERI PROMISE LAND Ft. Ogorry King, will be so impactful by evangelizing that the true worshippers and the fishers of men are those who will gain entrance into the kingdom of God as stipulated in the Biblical doctrine.

«This track was borne out of the ministration of the holy spirit to evangelize, win more souls and also encourage praises amongst the people of God, telling that in every situation they should learn to give thanks to God in every situation».
