Celebrated and award-winning filmmaker, Yemi Amodu is set to showcase his new movie project entitled, “Erebe”.
According to the actor, the movie borders on the crimes and dangers of illegal mining. Shot last year in April, the crime thriller will resonate with movie buffs as it speaks to the challenges of the day, society, and the dangers of not implementing laws made for society.
The movie, which will be premiered on Easter Sunday, March 31st, will hit the cinemas on April 5.
Yemi Amodu, a cerebral filmmaker and producer credited to have shot the stellar cast movie ‘Shadow Parties’ proudly financed by Bank of Industry (BOI) and Cornfield Group of Companies.

Movie makers can be likened to seers and this is why the government has to use filmmaking to sell their policies and promote their agenda,” says Amodu who was formerly the Global Secretary and Head of Research and Documentation of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN).
The movie which was shot in Yoruba languages and subtitled in English has a great cast like Yinka Salau, Akinola Akano, veteran actors: Jibola Dabo Jude Chukwuka and Adewale Elesho, Abeni Agbon, Mariam Mustapja, Abolarinwa Amodu and others.
Produced by Foluso Adedigba who was the Assistant Director of AGBAARIN by Jimoh Aliu in the late 70s. The project is powered by Cousinbayo Commercial Coordinates Ltd & Comart Costus Ltd.
