Yaw promises to set new standards on May 28

COMEDIAN  and OAP Steve Onu popularly known as Yaw has promised Nigerians a night of unending laughter at his upcoming show titled ‘Apere’ which is scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Eko Hotels Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The highlight of ‘Yaw Live on Stage’ annual comedy show is usually a stage play and this year edition, ‘APERE’ (meaning basket in English) is going to be headlined by Yaw himself and musician Sound Sultan.

Both Yaw and Sound Sultan have proved themselves to be all-round and versatile successful entertainers over the years and fans can only expect to be blown away by their on-stage antics. Speaking on what to expect at APERE, Yaw commented, “We’ve had so many rehearsals, Sound Sultan and I have put our all into bringing the best performance to everyone who attends. I can only tell Nigerians to expect a night of uninterrupted fun and laughter at APERE this year.”

Top comedians and musicians have also been confirmed to perform at the show to give attendees a complete entertaining and enjoyable show.

‘Apere’ aims to take a holistic view at the issues bordering on Nigeria as a Nation by satirically highlighting the societal ills and causing a re-awakening in the minds of Nigerians at the same time.
