Yari to lead peaceful protest over Oshiomhole’s decision on Zamfara APC exco

Governor Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara State would lead a peaceful protest over the decision of the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for cancelling state executives of the party in the state, saying Adam Oshiomhole’s decision is not acceptable.

Addressing newsmen on Friday night at Government House, Gusau, Governor Yari called supporters to come out for a peaceful protest to Zamfara police command today Saturday.

“I call all our members/supporters to come out to the state Police Headquarters by 10 am Saturday for peaceful protest.”

Yari lamented that Adam Oshiomhole alone took the decision of dissolving APC Executives in the state, the hard decision is not in our party Constitution and would not be accepted, we will continue with this decision until the national leadership of our party do what is right solve the issue. “

According to the Governor, he was among the founders of APC, he was in Lagos and Nasarawa states for series of meetings before APC was formed as a party, “no amount of pressure will make me to leave the party, not me.

“I don’t change political party it is not my tradition,I will not change the party and the rumour going round is not true, I am not under any pressure to leave my party,I’m still in APC and would remain in it,” he said.
