THE Yagba Youths Solidarity Movement of Kogi state on Monday said Yagba federal constituency deserve qualitative and better representation in the national assembly come 2019.

The youth, therefore, said they have commenced collation of signatures of constituents to search for a credible candidate to represent them in the house of representatives.

To this end, the people said they have collated no fewer than 15,000 signatures supporting the director general, media and publicity to the state governor, Mr Kingsley Fanwo to contest election into the seat next year.

The of the movement, Adekolade Bamidele, while speaking with newsmen in Lokoja, the state capital, said the people of the federal constituency had not experienced quality representation in recent time.

He explained that Yagba people wanted a representative that would be accessible and be ready to listen to their plight.

He said the youths had already started mobilisation across the three local government areas of the federal constituency with the major goal of making Fanwo contest the election.

Bamidele said, “The people of Yagba have made up their minds.

The people of Yagba want an accessible Rep from 2019; Fanwo has been responsible, responsive and accessible.

“We have collated 20 thousand signatures and still counting. You can defend our interests.
