EduFest Africa, an annual conference that celebrates and supports education pioneers across Africa, has honoured Amos Abidemi Ogunola as one of the Top 20 Exceptional Educators, awarded in celebration of World Teachers’ Day 2024.
In a statement, it said the honour highlights Amos’s extraordinary work in financial literacy, digital literacy, and youth empowerment, which has positively impacted students across Nigeria.
The highly competitive award, according to EduFest Africa, recognises commitment to educational innovation and student success.
Other recipients of the TEEA 2024 include Akingboye D. Wemimo, Olaitan Shopitan, Esther Ebbah, Caleb P. Owolabi, Kimakwa Godfrey (Kenya), and Oluwaleke Abdulwaheed Animashaun, among others.
Reacting to the recognition, Samantha Lazarus Oluwapelumi, PD of The Springsgates Grammar School: “Amos Ogunola’s work in promoting digital and financial literacy stands out as a model for educators across the continent.”
