Workers’ Day: Place premium on overall devt of Nigeria, NGO tells workers

As Nigeria joins the rest of the world in celebrating this year’s Workers Day, a Non-Governmental Organization, Unveiling and Rebranding Nigeria Initiative, has urged Nigerian workers to be more patriotic, placing a premium on the overall development of the country.

The Spokesperson of the Initiative, Moses Banjo, in the NGO’s Workers Day statement, described Nigerian workers, both in the public and private sectors, as the drivers of the nation’s economy, hence the need for them to be more dedicated and committed to rebranding the country’s image through their services.

Banjo, who applauded Nigerian workers for their resilience and hard work, urged them to strive to make Nigeria great through their daily contributions.

He further enjoined the workers to always uphold integrity, unity, and innovation in their workplaces.

The NGO maintained that by fostering a culture of excellence and putting Nigeria first, they can collectively propel the country to greater heights.

The statement appealed to Nigerian workers to reflect on their role in shaping Nigeria’s future so that they can build a Nigeria they can be proud of.
