Workers’ Day: Oyo felicitates with workers

ajimobiThe Oyo State Government has felicitated with workers in the state on the 2018 Workers’ Day celebration.

The government said that the workers have proved themselves as great allies of the government, stating that the support of the workers’ towards the Restoration, Transformation and Repositioning agenda and the implementation of development programmes of the Ajimobi administration is highly commendable.

The State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Mr. Toye Arulogun noted that the government appreciates the commitment and dedication to duty of the workers in the state and assured that the state government will not relent in its resolve to continue to improve the quality of life of the workers in the state and the entire citizenry  a whole, stressing that concerted  efforts are being made to ensure that the state government pays its outstanding one month salary.

The Government spokesman said, “We felicitate with the workers in the State on this year’s Workers’ Day Celebration. They have been very supportive and their immense contributions to the development of the state is worthy of commendation. Oyo State workers have been partners in progress with the Abiola Ajimobi administration in providing the dividends of democracy and good governance in the mission to build a modern Oyo State.

 “We will continue to strive hard to ensure that our workers get the best and their welfare will continue to be a priority. We urge them not to relent in their support for this administration and to always discharge their duties efficiently and effectively,” Arulogun added.
