The outgoing Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Aderemi Adeoye, has congratulated workers in the State as they celebrate May 1st, a day marked for workers to be celebrated worldwide.
Adeoye appreciates the workers in the State for their commitment, dedication, and especially their resolve in sustaining the message of peace and standing up against illegal sit-at-home orders on Mondays and any other act that threatens national unity and public peace in the State.

To this end, the CP urges the workers and residents alike to remain law-abiding and vigilant, and to continue to partner with and support the Police and other security agencies. They should also synergize and collaborate towards combating all forms of criminality and ensuring public security and safety in the state.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed and made available to journalists in Awka on Tuesday by the Command’s spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga.
