Workers are driving force behind our progress, Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA boss says

Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Ladi Oluwaloni, has lauded the resilience and dedication of the council’s workers, pledging enhanced training, better incentives, and recognition for excellence in the months ahead.

The council boss, who inaugurated transformative projects, underscoring his administration’s commitment to community development and workers’ welfare, noted that their sacrifices inspired him.

The council chairman further applauded the resilience and dedication of the council’s workers, describing them as the driving force behind his progress.

Speaking on the projects, the chairman said the newly built and furnished legislative building, named in honour of the former chairman, Chief (Mrs) Bola Shobowale, symbolises the council’s respect for its history and commitment to effective governance.

He said that the modern toilet facility at one of the LCDA’s major markets, aimed to addressing critical sanitation needs for traders and visitors, describing the newly opened Kuffo Street as a vital road project designed to ease movement and boost the local economy.

Oluwaloni further highlighted key achievements since he assumed office, including clearing of outstanding allowances, renovating office spaces, providing essential work tools and disbursing N250,000 as financial support to 10 Community Development Associations (CDAs) across the LCDA’s five wards to strengthen community collaboration.

The council boss, who recently empowered 1,000 entrepreneurs with N100 million in grants through the Ajumose Season 1 programme, however, pledged to enhance training, better incentives and recognition for excellence in the months ahead, adding, “Your sacrifices inspire us.”

The CDC chairman, Joseph Olokede, praised Oluwaloni’s infrastructural development.
