Wizkid claims N5,000 can make one successful business owner, sparks reactions

Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has made a bold statement, claiming that anyone can become a successful business owner with just N5,000.

In a video that has sparked widespread reactions online, the “Essence” hitmaker, who is now worth $70 million, shared this view while engaging with his fans and followers.

Wizkid emphasised that if given N5,000, he could turn it into a thriving business, adding that he would never go broke again.

In Wizkid’s words, “Give me N5K, I would start a business for sure, and I’m never going broke again.”

Unsurprisingly, his remarks triggered mixed reactions on social media.

While some questioned the feasibility of starting a successful business with such a small amount, others speculated that Wizkid might have been under the influence when he made the statement.
