Wild jubilation, as Tambuwal, Ortom storm PDP national secretariat in Abuja

THERE was wild jubilation this afternoon as the duo of Governors of Sokoto and Benue States, Aminu Tambuwal and Samuel Ortom stormed the National Secetariat of the Peoples Democratic Party in Abuja, for the emergency National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting of the Party.

Governor Tambawal who returned back to the party he left four years ago for the All Progressives Congress, APC, on Wednesday arrived the PDP National Secretariat, Wadata Plaza, Complex, Wuse, Zonen 5. Abuja. 1 40 pm was received with a rousing welcome as Party members went into jubilation and shouting the Party’s slogan “PDP!, PDP!!

At exactly 2 00 pm, his counterpart in Benue State, Dr Samuel Ortom arrived at the Venue of the NEC meeting and was received with a similar rousing welcome.

Governor Ortom returned the party last week from the APC, he was the former National Auditor of the PDP before he went to contest for the governorship seat of Benue State.
