Wifee storms Africa with a new lifestyle Brand

Published by

Women Initiative for Entrepreneurial Empowerment (WIFEE), a non-profit organisation in Oyo state, is set to break all existing records as it launched its new lifestyle brand at the maiden edition of its annual lifestyle conference, The Beautiful Life Conference (TBL Conference)’ in Ibadan.

According  to the founder of WIFEE,Chisom Mabia, “With 52% of Nigerian population as women, yet less than 2% of them  making  an effective contribution to the GDP,WIFEE decided  to set up a catalyst platform for a new breed of women businesses in Africa via its new lifestyle brand called ‘The Beautiful Life.’

The maiden edition of The Beautiful Life Conference which took place recently at the Oyo State College of Health, Science and Technology, Eleyele, was a gathering of young mentors especially women who have attained a level of success in their professional/entrepreneurial ventures as they selflessly trained and empowered the younger generation to be bold, build, bloom and beautify.

“The Beautiful Life Conference has set a new trend in the pursuit of purpose and life aspiration for young women. Being bold, building an enterprise to bloom into a beautiful empire are all elements in one’s actualisation of the beautiful life.”

The speakers at this year’s TBL Conference included, Tinu Smith, an award-winning Nigerian-based fashion designer and the Chief Executive Officer of Datina Designs Fashion House and Fashion School; Odukoya Kawthar Bolajoko (Mrs), Co-Founder and Executive Director, Vanguard Pharmacy Limited; Mosimiloluwa Oduwole, Founder, VAV Art Organisation; Olajide Abiose, technology entrepreneur and founder of InfusionTech; Dr Kadiri Kehinde Kadijat, Lecturer of Mass Communication and Photographer; Gwendolyn Oshoniyi, Former General Manager, R2FM; and Funke Ogunshola, HR-IT trainer, development practitioner and employability skills coach.
