Speaking during an outreach held in Eruwa, the capital of Ibarapa East Local Government on Sunday, President, Tool Initiative, Titilayo Oguntade Oladele, said the organisation is dedicated to community development to make positive impact over the years in the lives of the less privileged particularly the widows.
She noted that:”The organisation has grown into a powerful force for change. I am also happy to announce that we have taken steps to formalise our activities by fulfilling all the requirements for registration under the law of the federal republic of Nigeria.
“There is nothing political about this, it is purely humanitarian service AND that is exactly what we are sticking to as far as we are concerned.”
Beneficiaries were presented with items such as sewing machines, Point of Sales (PoS) machines with start-up cash, grinding machines, deep freezers among others.
Some of the beneficiaries who spoke with journalists during the programme expressed gratitude to Tool Initiative for the gesture, while praying that the President of the organisation, Titilayo Oguntade Oladele, will continue to soar higher in life.
Chairman of the organising committee for the programme, Dr Samuel Gbesabi, in his remark urged government at all level and other well meaning Nigerians to always remember the less privileged at all times.
