Published by

The National Youth Service Corps has stated why it shut down the Batch B registration portal.

This was disclosed on the official X account of the management on Tuesday 11th June 2024 in a press statement.

“Upon reaching the maximum number of PCMs required for the incoming batch in line with the carrying capacities of the 37 NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide, the portal was shutdown accordingly.”

“For the purposes of information, the NYSC registration portal experienced a glitch on Saturday 8th June, 2024.

Prospective Corps Members were immediately notified of the problem in the NYSC portal.

When the issue was rectified, registration by Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) continued on the same day”.

“While apologising to the PCMs who could not register for Service before registration was discontinued, Management wishes to assure them that the portal will reopen for 2024 Batch “B” Stream II on a date that will be announced later.”
