Speaking at the unveiling in Lagos, recently, the Managing Director of the newly re-rechristened agency, Mr Lampe Omoyele added that the re-branding of the Lagos-based Integrated Marketing Communications agency, would enable the agency to further consolidate on the achievements and feats achieved with the old name.

The Nitro 121 boss added that the new name and logo signified a better digital and creative engagement with the clients and stakeholders.

“There is a high level of competition in the market place, the market is evolving and we cannot afford to be a dinosaur. What we are doing is thinking ahead of the scope, ahead of the market. So, while  other people are still thinking about what to do, we are moving ahead of the scope,” he stated.

Speaking on the new innovation expected from the latest rebranding, Omoyele added that the agency had deepened its digital offering by expanding the scope and recruiting some of the best hands in the industry.

“We bring to the table a new dimension of digital marketing.

“We have one of the strongest teams and one of the best digital marketing personnel in the country; we are bringing a new digital marketing strategy capability into the game. We have recruited in the past one year some of the best strategists, while the average agency just speaks about creative,” he added.

On whether the change from 141 to 121, would not be misconstrued for a drop in the agency’s creative prowess, Omoyele argued that the new name only signifies an agency that desires a deeper bond with its clients.

“When you say 141, what does that mean? ‘I am one for one person. But when you say 121, it is a greater level of connection that is what it is,” he said.

He added that some of the new and improved offerings from the agency include brand management, strategy development, creative development, digital marketing, media buying and planning, audiovisual production and experiential marketing.

At the unveiling were some of the agency’s clients, such as the British American Tobacco Nigeria (BATN), GOtv, 9mobile and a host of others.
