Why we are bringing ‘Bond with me’ to Lagos — FTK

Feyikemi Tosin-Kukoyi (FTK) is the convener, ‘Bond With Me 007’. In a recent chat with ROTIMI IGE, she spoke about her reasons for bringing ‘Bond With Me 007’ to Nigeria for Valentine’s Day.  

What has been the most memorable achievements in your company?

We’ve had several memorable moments in our 17 years of professional event and wedding planning. It has been a pleasure to plan and design flawless execution of large-scale and extravagant weddings, where every detail was meticulously planned and executed, leaving a lasting impression on our clients and guests. Winning industry awards from the wedding wire and receiving recognition for outstanding wedding planning services.  By far the most significant achievement was when Governor Larry Hogan and the state of Maryland gave us a citation on September 20, 2017.

What inspired the decision to start the yearly ‘Bond With Me’ event?

After dreaming about a classy soiree for several years. I finally got the ball rolling and set out to create a unique event that was classy and inclusive of all lovers across the board regardless of their age, race, ethnicity, and or background.

What is the story behind ‘Bond with me 007’ theme?

‘Bond With Me 007’ is far from an ordinary event, the curated experience is inspired by the intrigue and romance of 007. The aim is to create an event that captures the essence and style commonly associated with the iconic James Bond character and his escapades.

What makes ’Bond With Me’ different from other Valentine’s Day events?

It is a unique experience not just an event. It is a black tie affair and the guests who attend embody the iconic ‘Bond’ style. The interactive set design is reminiscent of Bond movies. The engaging agenda includes sophisticated love missions to introduce or enhance relations through unique scavenger hunt games and engaging physical games.

 Who is your target audience for the Valentine’s Day event?

Individuals who appreciate a sophisticated and themed experience, particularly those who have an interest in the upscale premium vibes that James Bond experience promises. The event is designed to appeal to mature singles, dating couples, married couples and or divorcees seeking a unique and upscale Valentine’s Day celebration with potential of networking and or meeting their significant other.

Why Lagos?

Lagos is the best canvas for such an event like this. We are going to change the narrative of the same ol’ same ol’ valentine’s day event. It is that “once-in-a-lifetime” type of event hence we’ve labeled it a ‘Luxury Love Experience’ and hence why it is such an exclusive event.

 Are there any other cities you plan to explore in the coming years?

Dubai, Cape-town, Abuja, Cancun and others.
