Why Tech Revolution Africa 2025 is key to our dream —PMI

THE management of Project Management Institute (PMI) has described this year’s edition of the Tech Revolution Africa Conference 2025 as key, since it would afford the institute the opportunity to fulfil its dream of showcasing globally-recognjsed certifications and offerings tailored for technology professionals, entrepreneurs, ecosystem builders, and innovators, to the world.

Speaking on the forthcoming conference, Managing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa, PMI, George Asamani, stated that the event reflects the institute’s focus on connecting with diverse audience, critical to Africa’s technological growth.

He described effective project management as critical to ensuring success, as digital transformation reshapes industries across the continent.

“PMI’s certifications, like the Project Management Professional (PMP), are globally recognised as the gold standard for project leaders, equipping them with the tools and methodologies needed to drive innovation and deliver results.

“The need for structured project execution, stakeholder management, and strategic planning is growing rapidly, especially as organisations navigate complex technological shifts,” he stated.

Asamani added that the institute’s intervention is tailored towards fostering a workforce capable of managing projects in an agile, cost-effective, and scalable manner.

He argued further that sinceT tech innovation has continued to accelerate across Africa, creating both opportunities and challenges, the institute is dedicated to empowering the tech ecosystem with the skills and certifications to manage the complexity, deliver successful projects, and shape a brighter future.

Co-Founder of Tech Revolution Africa, David Ogebe, expressed the optimism that the strategic partnership between PMI and Tech Revolution Africa would further strengthen the vibrant tech ecosystem and expand the frontiers for more project professionals, among innovators.
