A chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party in Sokoto who is also a Senior Special Assistant SSA to the Governor of Sokoto State, Mallam Yusuf Dyngiyadi has rated the incumbent Governor, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal ahead of the former Governor and leader of the All Progressives Congress APC in the state, Senator Aliyu Wamakko.
Dyngiyadi who was a former Publicity Secretary of the party in the State disclosed this in Sokoto on Monday while speaking with TribuneOnline in his office.
He described the style of governance of the incumbent as more robust and people-oriented, which he claims it serves the people of the state better than his predecessor in office.
Dyngiyadi who is also the coordinator of House-to-House Mobilisation Vanguard campaign for the re-election of the PDP in the state also dispelled the story of defection from PDP to APC in the state as a social media thing meant to score a cheap political goal.
He challenged the leadership of the APC in the state to name any present prominent member of the PDP who has cross carpet to their midst, rather than saying thousands of PDP members moved into their party on daily basis.
He described Tambuwal as a reliable leader, ” Governor Aminu Tambuwal is a rightful leader who has the people of the state at heart.

” The Governor is someone who understands the problem of the people of the state and God willing, he will come back for his second term as others before him and continue to provide giants stride and social amenities for the good people of the state.
He challenged the leaders of APC state to drop the name of president Muhammadu Buhari and use their names if at all they are as popular as they want people to believe in the state.
According to him, ” If not because of Buhari, Wamakko cannot even follow his street in Sokoto State, this is the kind of people that are using names to deprived people.
“They are dropping names to let people think that they have support and popular, the only people who are factors in this politics are the people of the State.
“They are the people who are going to vote on the election day and have resolved to support the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in the state.”
