Why people accept me despite my flaws –Toyin Abraham

Popular actress, Toyin Abraham, has admitted that she is not one who is without flaws but her imperfection has not stopped her from getting support from people who have helped her career till date.

The Ibadan-born actress is regarded by fans and film loves to be one of the hit makers in the movie industry and one movie that is widely regarded as her most prominent is ‘Alakada’, and a sequel to the movie is expected to hit the cinemas next month.

Following her acting exploits in the past year, especially for her role in ‘Elevator baby’, the 39-year old thespian was awarded the Best Actress in a Drama (Movie/TV Series) at the recently concluded Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Award (AMVCA).

Abraham who appeared excited at the recognition revealed via her Instagram account that God was the secret to her success and the reason behind people accepting her with her flaws.

“Inasmuch as God is the ultimate, He uses people to bless us. Since the beginning of my journey (most especially my rebranding process), God has sent people who accept me with my flaws and all, and people who have helped me cross the next line. I want to sincerely thank everyone who has been part of my journey one way or the other.

“The award of AMVCA Best Actress in Africa is a sum total of your deposits into my career,” the actress added.
