iSlimfit, Lagos Digital Summit convener, sustains humanitarian projects, declares ‘presidential ambition’
The year 2022 has been a momentous one for the convener of Lagos Digital Summit (LDS) Adetona Adewale Akeem, popularly known as iSlimfit, who recently won a UK Visa and resident permit courtesy of the Tech Nation Global Talent project.

Though presently living in Leeds, United Kingdom, iSlimfit is continuing his various efforts to make life bearable for Nigerians. One of such projects is his “Project Humanity” which he explained was “ borne out of the desire to celebrate the first day of the year with the less privileged and also show them love.”

Speaking further on this, iSlimfit, co-founder of the Menopays app, explained: “Project Humanity has been running since 2017 and it has impacted many less privileged centres like Ikoyi Prison, Correctional Center for Boys, Ikeja, Arrows of God Orphanage, Ajah and Rock Gardens Home for Elderly, among others.”

According to him, he has been committed to this charitable obligation with support from his close friends and a few interested public and corporate organizations.

In another development, the leading digital technologist and marketing expert recently brought a humorous twist to the ongoing presidential declaration galore in the country when he posted on his Instagram page on April 11, 2021, his purported declaration to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
On his official Instagram page, @islimfit, he posted: “The whole Nigeria have not had rest because I haven’t declared. Students wouldn’t eat cos I’ve not declared. With utmost humility, I formally declare my intention to run for the office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on the platform of PVC. Please support our movement and let’s take Nigeria from the shackles of tied hands. Our Motto is LAMNBA, pronounced LAMBA. The N is silent. Let’s All Make Nigeria Big Again. #LAMNBA2023”
