Why I’m better positioned to win Osun governorship election — Omisore

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Osun State, Senator Iyiola Omisore, has said that he is better positioned to win the September 22 governorship election in the state.

Affirming his supremacy over other contenders, especially in the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gboyega Oyetola Senator Ademola Adeleke, respectively, Omisore said both are not viable enough to compete with him.

Omisore, speaking through the director of media and publicity of his campaign organisation, Prince Samson Falope, in a statement, said, he is in the best position to project the state into the future.

According to him, “I’m very sure that I am going to emerge victorious in the coming gubernatorial election, as none of the other candidates is viable enough to compete with me

“With the readiness and support of Osun State people towards the restoration of human dignity and good governance which the state has suffered in the recent past, I will definitely take over the governance as the executive governor of the state come November 27, 2018.”

He stated that the APC candidate, Mr Gboyega Oyetola and that of the PDP, Senator Demola Adeleke are not near a threat to his ambition, saying “the people of Osun are fully aware of Oyetola, the Chief of Staff to Aregbesola and the brain behind Aregbesola’s series of blunders in the state.”

According to him, “the almost eight years of the APC have plunged the state and its people into abject poverty, and penury is visible to the blind and audible to the deaf, hence, it is crystal clear that the good people of Osun State are tired of such governance or culprit and cannot afford to go into another Four years of slavery.”
