Why I paid 13 times Nigerian visa fee to attend Dr Eneche’s conference — California man

A man from California, United States, identified as Pastor Pead, has revealed that he paid thirteen times the standard Nigerian visa fee to attend Dr Paul Enenche’s Dunamis International Gospel Centre conference.

The man shared this while speaking at the church headquarters in Abuja on Sunday.

According to him, he first met Dr Enenche in Ethiopia and was determined to attend the Dunamis Minister’s Flaming Fire Conference. However, his application for a Nigerian visa was denied.

Undeterred, Pastor Pead opted for a visa-on-arrival process, which cost him 13 times more than the regular fee.

He explained that he was charged $3,600, excluding the cost of his airfare instead of the standard $260 visa fee by a man he met online.

Speaking on the development, Pastor Pead expressed no regrets about the expense, stating that the additional cost was an investment in his spiritual life.

He noted that God had already compensated him for the extra expense, as his university recently issued him a cheque for an amount equivalent to what he spent.

He said, “For me, it was an investment in my spiritual life. There is no price for that. And the declaration that you (Pastor Enenche) gave, within less than 24 hours, God showed me it’s all in His hands, and I got the same money back.”

Reacting to the incident, Dr Enenche condemned the exploitation by the online individual who overcharged the foreigner, pledging to ensure the culprit is identified and the money recovered.

He also encouraged foreigners attending the church’s programmes to contact the church’s foreign desk for assistance with visa processing to prevent similar occurrences.

Dr Enenche said, “Foreign desk, don’t let anyone process their visa themselves. Let them link up with us. Don’t meet anybody online. Just contact the church, and let that be done for you.”
