Why I left UK to participate in BBNaija – Ben

Recently evicted Big Brother Naija housemate, Benjamin Olufemi, popularly known as Ben, has disclosed his reasons for leaving the United Kingdom to participate in the reality show.

Ben, who was evicted from the Season 9 edition on Sunday, stated that his permanent residency in the UK allowed him to take a break from his nightlife business, which primarily operates on weekends.

In an interview with journalists, Ben, a nightlife promoter, explained: “First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.

“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.

“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was that I had to pay all my bills before coming.”
