Bholu
A content creator and skit maker, Isaac Bholu has disclosed why he embarked on the award of scholarship to indigent students in Nigeria.
Bholu who spoke via his Instagram page @Isaac_Bholu said he was touched by the desire of the less privileged in his environment to aspire for higher studies.
“When I saw a young man on a wheelchair who approached me some years back, that he had a desire to return to school, but had a challenge for sponsorship, I had to step in.
“I assisted him, and today, he is a graduate. I later conceived that I could extend the gesture to others, through an open award of scholarship to verified indigent persons,” Bholu said.
Bholu said the scholarship scheme which he started over four years is a way he is giving back to society.
“It’s been four years now, and I have not relented in doing my best for people. This is my little way of giving back to society.
“My wish is for others, who are well to do, to also step in and assist people who are vulnerable and cannot get an education,” Bholu stated.
