Egbeleke Ademola Owolabi is an event host/compere/MC, skit maker, content creator. In this interview with Rotimi Ige, he speaks about his talent, craft and plans for the future.
Your background?
I am from a family of six. I am an Oyo State indigene. I had my primary education in Lagos, secondary education in Sango Ota, Ogun State and tertiary education in Oyo State. I graduated from the University of Ibadan where I studied Biochemistry.
How did you discover your talent?
I was always the unserious and playful one in the family, but I never knew I had this innate ability to hold a crowd spellbound until my NYSC days when I didn’t have anything to do after coming back from my PPA, so I stumbled on skits on Instagram, it appeared like what I could do, I tried it out and the reception was great and I have never looked back ever since.

Tell us an achievement you are proud of and the one you are looking forward to?
That must be winning Blingz Awards Event Compere of the Year 2019 and I am looking forward to winning awards on a global scale for doing what I love the most.
What motivates you?
The quest to do more differently and show to the world I have a lot to offer.
How do you handle stress and pressure?
I pray, play games and sleep
What are your goals?
To be a brand and household name in the entertainment sphere and especially as a MC.
Who are your role models?
I actually don’t have role models because I believe everyone has flaws, I only look up to a certain people emulate the necessary things about them to make me better but not trying to be like them, I am me and nobody can be me better than me.
What are your hobbies?
Swimming, playing games and watching movies.
What can’t you live without?
At the moment and in all honesty I can’t live without my phone because I do a lot of things with my phone.
