First-rising artiste, Ayeni Abayomi Emmanuel, otherwise known as Thespis, has revealed the real reason he took a bold step to apologise to her ex-girlfriend, Janet, over a brawl that was reported to have leaked to the social media.
The young artiste was said to have regretted his action by insulting his ex-lover on selected social media platforms. Consequently, the artiste had pulled down the damaging comments, as well as taken to his media handles to apologise to his ex-lover and fans over the development.
Thespis told R that what transpired between him and his ex-girlfriend was trivial, adding that both parties could not control it before it escalated.
“I regretted my action to have insulted her. This surfaced because of an uncontrollable situation I found myself at the peak of our misunderstanding. We are humans and we have our weak points. I never meant what I said and I regretted my action. I hope my apology will bring about peace. I want to use this opportunity to apologise to my fans too, especially for their sense of maturity that the issue was a private matter and has nothing to do with my career,” he said.
Speaking on his forthcoming work, Thespis noted that plans are in top gear to release his new single entitled: “Gbotemi” featuring music legend, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi.
