Why I am starting a ‘gang’ for bearded people —Akinade Akintayo

Published by

A new movement or gathering for bearded people is about to be officially formed, if the words of Akinade Akintayo, the facilitator of the movement ‘BEARDGANG’, is to go by. Hear him, “For me was generated from the understanding I have about the chemistry that exists between bearded people.  It’s a reality that this face feature is not what all men are blessed with and no matter how hard someone wants it, such a person’s genetics must be in support to make it happen.

“A bearded face for me is art, which can be described as a painting that draws the attention of anyone coming in contact with it. The strength needed to make beards grow and still look good is a very peculiar endurance which requires self-perception to let it grow fine and well kept. All these attributes are very special to me and I have always had this idea of bringing such like minds together to annex the awesome energy towards what our immediate society will feel positive.

“The coming together as a bearded people community is a good opportunity for us to prove to everyone that bearded people are wonderful and compassionate in nature, and in view of this, we really cherish this fellowship and we will do all we can to make the nation feel our impact as a group that stands for all and that can fill the void that drives us back as a sovereign state. The ‘beardgang’ party is one of its kind especially in this nation (Nigeria) which will be a strong avenue for us to gather, strategise and merry as a body.
