Why FCCPC’s approval remains key to Checkers Custard’s Promo —Organisers

CHECKERS Africa, organisers of the ongoing Checkers Custard national consumer promotion said it insisted on the approval  and vetting of the  consumer regulatory body, the  Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), as a way of demonstrating transparency and following due process guiding the organisation of consumer reward system in Nigeria.

The company’s Managing Director, Karen Checker, in a statement, explained that the promo, tagged ‘Custard Scratch ‘N’ Win Consumer Promo’, which kicked off this month, is designed to reward lucky consumers of the Custard brand for their unflinching loyalty to the brand in the past few years.

Karen also expressed the belief that the reward system expected to run till August, will go a long way in uplifting millions of the brand’s consumers and reinforcing the brand’s presence in the minds of Nigerians.

“It is with a view to appreciate our final Checkers consumers and families, who, over the years, have shown commitment and loyalty to the quality of Checkers Custard product. It is high time that they also enjoyed freebies beyond the giveaways on social media and our other CSR activities,” the company’s chief executive stated.

Some of the prizes to be won include: LED TVs, refrigerators, standing fans, mobiles phones, airtime recharge cards and its flagship product, Checkers Custard Vanilla.
