A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ekiti, and philanthropist, Otunba Emmanuel Fayose has advocated that All Progressive Congress (APC) should be voted out in the coming general elections at all levels.

Fayose, a former House of Representatives aspirant and founder of Otunba Fayose Foundation said that the present suffering and economic hardship could not be over-emphasised.

According to him, the masses are experiencing untold hardship as a result of the high cost of food and other essential items.

“As a result of downturn economy, things are getting worse, no hope for citizens at all.

“I urged the youth to do the needful by voting the APC out of power in the coming elections as all hope are gone presently.”

He also challenged Nigeria’s President  Nola Tinubu to lead by example by resigning his position has nothing is working in the country presently.

The party chieftain also congratulate the new Ekiti PDP caretaker chairman Dare Adeleke and his team, charging him to reposition the party and ensure discipline among members.

“I wish Adeleke success, I also charge him to reposition the party and ensure discipline among members, no one should be above the party constitution.

“Anti-party activities should be discouraged and offenders should also be sanctioned.

“The party has strong chances of taking over the state and at all levels of the country in the next general election as electorate are tired of the incumbent APC and they need a change as nothing is working,” Fayose concluded.
