Why Adelabu will brave odds to end erratic power supply — Media consultant

A media consultant, Mr Idris Busari has avowed that Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu is poised to brave the odds to ensure Nigeria has a stable power supply.

Busari hinged this optimism on the plan of action that Adelabu has marshalled for the power sector and the commitment he extracted from the minister.

Contained in a statement, Busari said Adelabu was, more than ever, set to tackle the protracted challenges in the areas of generation, transmission and distribution in the power sector.

Busari added that his optimism was buoyed by Adelabu stating his commitment to considerably increasing the megawatts of electricity and harnessing the potential in the power sector.

He said Adelabu is driven by the understanding that stable electricity is crucial to engender the socioeconomic development of the country and important for the livelihood of Nigerians.

He added that Adelabu would bring to bear his successes in life added to his initiatives and resilience to facilitate tremendous and sustainable development in the power sector.

According to Busari, “the minister of power will, in line with the ‘Renewed Hope’ agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration, surpass the expectations of Nigerians, and deliver a stable power supply in no time.”

The media consultant cautioned Nigerians against constant castigation, hurl of abuse of the power sector and its operators but supported the drive and initiatives of the ministry of power under Adelabu’s leadership.
