When gospel ministers, clerics, traditional ruler raised praise altar at Mega Cantata 2025

This year’s Mega Cantata, organised by the Christ Apostolic Church, Gbaremu Centre, along  Imalefalafia Road, Ibadan, Oyo State, was an event filled with passionate praise as gospel ministers such as Evangelists Esther Igbekele, Bukola Akinade (Senwele Jesu), Apekeola, Goke Bajowa, Yetunde Aare, Ayabamz, and Iyanuoluwa Praise inspired the spirits of worshipers throughout the event.

The 12-hour praise concert with the theme “God That Never Fails” took place on January 31 and welcomed hundreds of worshippers at the church premises. Several gospel ministers, including emerging gospel ministers Fikayo Adeitan, Flamez Abbey, Titilayo Olabiyi, and S.A. Dynamic, transformed the stage into a vibrant praise altar. Additionally, choristers from various branches of the church inspired everyone present to praise God, while the programme was anchored by promising comedian, MC Megabyte.

The event has remained the talk of the town and is currently generating conversation on social media, particularly due to the explosive ministration of Esther Igbekele.

Worshipers were not just filled with praises during the event; they also experienced the ministrations of the royal father, the Onpetu of Ijeruland, Oba Sunday Oyediran, who urged everyone to remain steadfast in their faith and to live righteously.

Pastor Joseph Akinade and Prophetess Seyi Bakare enhanced the event with a powerful prayer session. The atmosphere was spirit-filled from the beginning of the programme until the very end.

Pastor Claudius Olaiya, the host of the event, expressed his delight at its success, saying, “This is a platform divinely ordained by God to exclusively praise Him for the grace to witness the new year, as well as to express our gratitude for the abundant blessings of a safe life, our nation, and the entire world.”

He noted that this event, now in its third edition, has provided gospel ministers with opportunities to showcase their talents, foster connections, and support up-and-coming ministers in excelling in their ministries.

He also hinted that the next event will be even larger, transforming into a Mega City Cantata powered by the church.

“By the grace of God, we are expanding and going beyond the four walls of the church premises. God is taking us to another level, and we have started preparing. We are confident that God and those who are ready to worship Him in all aspects will make this a success,” he added.
