What people don’t know about my relationship with Davido —Mayorkun

Published by

Afrobeats singer, Mayorkun, a former protégé of music sensation Davido, has put to rest speculations surrounding the status of his relationship with Davido which some people suggested has gone sour.

Despite earlier reports suggesting fallout between the two, Mayorkun stated that their bond is stronger than ever.

Having risen to stardom under Davido’s DMW label, Mayorkun has consistently delivered chart-topping hits and EPs.

While rumors circulated about a potential rift, the details surrounding the speculated discord remain elusive.

Mayorkun, however, took the opportunity to clarify that there is no animosity between him and his former label boss.

In return, Mayorkun asserted that he comprehends Davido on a level unmatched by anyone else.

Despite expectations from the music industry and fans to showcase their camaraderie publicly, Mayorkun expressed his intention to keep their relationship private.

“I can boldly say that I have the best relationship with Davido, and it is not going to change. People just want to see me post about him to show that we remain friends, but I will do that for them,” Mayorkun affirmed.

With this statement, Mayorkun reassures fans that, despite the industry’s speculation, the bond he shares with Davido remains unbreakable, even if it doesn’t play out in the public eye.
