We’re poised to win, says Ogun PDP gov candidate, Buruji Kashamu

THE governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State, Senator Buruji Kashamu, has expressed confidence of winning Saturday’s election.
According to him, with the people having bought into his vision and mission to take Ogun State to greater heights, he is optimistic of coasting home to victory.
Kashamu, who spoke to newsmen after casting his vote at Unit 026, Egbe Subair, Oke-Sopin, Ijebu-Igbo, described the turnout of voters in the area as impressive, adding the reports reaching him from other places indicated that people trooped out to exercise their franchise in a peaceful atmosphere.
“So far, the reports I have received indicate that the election has been largely peaceful. I want to commend President Muhammadu Buhari, INEC and the security agencies for providing a level playing field for everyone to compete. Kudos to the political parties and all the stakeholders for their cooperation.
“In my polling unit and from what I have heard, the turnout has been impressive and very commendable.
“It will be too early to predict the outcome of the election but we have worked hard and shared with the good people of Ogun State our blueprint for taking Ogun State to greater heights. We believe they have bought into it, and we are hopeful that we will come out victorious,” the PDP governorship candidate said.
