We’ll take Africa beauty to Paris —Funmi Rotiba

Under the banner of Imperial House of Culture, the cultural promoter and female advocate, Erelu Asa Funmi Rotiba, has established the need to unveil her plans to exhibit African cultural values in France. This is strictly to ignite the European audience about Africa and to award the promoters of African culture and domestic tourism.

The exhibition with the tag “Redefining Africa Together through Tourism and Culture” while the award known as Prestigious African Awards. The event will take place at the UNESCON Cafeteria (7th floor), 7 place de’ Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France.

Erelu Asa in an interactive session with journalists at the palace of Alafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, pointed out “Having dedicated the rest of my life in the defense of my culture and my gender, I have decided to promote African culture at the global stage. The exhibition focuses in rebranding the image of Africa at the international market. We will storm Paris with African beauty. It is a fresh breath in the promotion of our culture.

“It is our responsibility now to showcase to the world the uniqueness in our culture, art and traditions. The event will be attended by African Royal fathers, stakeholders in the domestic tourism sector, beauty pageants and media professionals.

“This is an exhibition of creative expression with symposium that will enlighten the public about what it means to be an African. We are excepting some musical icons to grace the occasion. The main purpose is lure tourists to Africa,” Rotiba concluded.

The recipients of the Prestigious African Awards are: Mr Kumneger Teketel W/Gambrie, the Chief Executive Officer, Ozzie Business and Hospitality Group African Hospitality Investment Trade Show and Nana Dr. Appiagyei Dankawao I, the President of Pan African Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Chamber of Commerce.

The events in the exhibition are African fashion exhibition, African music movie, African Royal meets and greet, cultural exhibitions/symposium and African Beauty Pageant.
