We’ll have zero tolerance for public utilities vandals — Zamfara NSCDC Commandant

Published by

The Zamfara State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Sani Mustapha, has disclosed that the Corps has zero tolerance for anyone who engages in the vandalization of public utilities or patronises the same in the state.

Zamfara, NSCDC Commandant, made this known on Tuesday in Gusau when he addressed the Association of Scraped Products Buyers in the State.

Commandant Sani Mustapha reiterated the resolve of the Corps in Zamfara State to deal ruthlessly, using the extant laws of the Federation, with anyone who engages in the vandalization of public utilities or patronises the same in the state.

He advised members of the association to collaborate with the Corps to fish out perpetrators of such crimes in the state.

He charged the leadership of the association to desist from buying any goods suspected to have been vandalised.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Association, Alh. Aminu Abbah said the association is ready to redeem the image of the state.

As a result, he pledged to collaborate with the Corps to put an end to the vandalism of government and private properties in the state.

The Chairman, however, extolled the doggedness of the Corps in the fight against insecurity and vandalism and promised to support the Corps in Zamfara Command to root out vandalism in the state.
