Nigerian businessman, Chukwujekwu Maduabuchukwu Onwughalu, is CEO of Jenik Freight, a logistics company focused on international freight forwarding, has said the firm is ready to work with big corporations in Nigeria and beyond.
Jenik Freight specializes in providing import and export services via ocean and air to worldwide destinations.
Fondly referred to as Jekwu Onwughalu, he founded the freight company, which is based in Calgary, Canada, in 2016. Eight years later, it has established itself as the foremost and trusted logistics and freight partner, shipping to every location worldwide with partners in over 150 ports and 300 cities across the globe.

Jekwu Onwughalu studied mechanical engineering at the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), Imo State, South-east Nigeria, and later obtained a master’s degree in petroleum engineering from the prestigious Heriot Watt University in Scotland, United Kingdom, after which he spent 15 years professionally in Drilling, Completions and Workover operations in Nigeria and outside the country.

Blessed with three children, Kamsi Ebuka and Ebube, he migrated to Canada in 2012, four years after which he went into business. According to Jekwu Onwughalu, what has spurred him on is growing his wealth by investing in ideas geared towards solving problems for humanity.
“The fastest way to grow wealth is by allowing your money to work for you. I invest in businesses that are solving real problems and hoping that one of the businesses will be a unicorn. I want to be a billionaire one day and I hope to achieve by scaling my business and investing in other businesses,” he explained.
