Vivacity CEO, Oluwakemi Areola, applauds partners for supporting global goals at UNGA

At the recently concluded United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) side event in the United States, Oluwakemi Ann-Melody Areola, CEO of Vivacity Development, expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering support of key partners and sponsors.

She commended their vital contributions, which were instrumental in the event’s success.

In her address, she highlighted the commendable efforts of Periscope Consulting Ltd, UPDC Facility Management, Post Assurance Brokers Limited, and Cyberpedia Internet Governance, for not only sponsoring but also actively participating in the event. She noted that their involvement demonstrated their shared commitment to the global goals discussed.

Areola also extended her gratitude to the Office of the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals and the Office of the Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Climate Change and Circular Economy.

She said, “Their presence and contributions were pivotal in aligning the discussions with sustainable practices and circular economy innovations that are critical for the future of Lagos State and beyond.”

In her closing remarks, Areola expressed hope that the key deliberations and resolutions from the event would be implemented across all levels. She emphasized that these efforts would not only drive sustainable development but also foster a global commitment to climate action and economic resilience.

“We stand at the threshold of transformative change. With partners like these, I am confident that we can turn these ideas into actionable solutions that will benefit both local communities and the global landscape,” she said.
