Vitamin D supplement and my health

I am in my 60s. I want to know if it is true that people in my age group should be taking Vitamin D supplements to avoid fractures or falls

A recent scientific finding has discovered that the benefits and harms of vitamin D supplements among elderly people in their 60s are either non-existent or trivial, resulting in no net benefit. Instead of vitamin supplements, the elderly are advised to be very cautious of their physical activities in order to avoid falls and fractures.
