VIDEO: Why I stopped being feminist — American model Amber Rose

Popular American model and Television personality, Amber Rose, has revealed that she no longer identifies as a feminist, citing her experiences with the manipulative behaviour of some women as the reason for her decision.

Speaking on a recent episode of the Club Shay Shay podcast, she explained that she had seen close friends deceive men about pregnancies and abortions to extract money from them.

She described these actions as deeply troubling and noted that such experiences led her to distance herself from feminism and halt her popular SlutWalk movement.

Amber Rose further expressed concerns about women who falsely claim to be on birth control as a means of coercing men into unwanted commitments.

She argued that trust is essential in relationships and that such deceitful practices contribute to the reasons she no longer aligns with feminist ideals.

She said, “I have had girlfriends lie about abortions to get money. Some even act like they are pregnant [to extort men]. It’s disgusting. This is why I stopped my slutwalk. This is why I’m no longer a feminist.

“I saw the dark side of what women can do; you guys are extorting men, lying about pregnancies, saying you’re on birth control when you’re not to trap men. If a man c**s inside of you and you said you’re on birth control, he trusts you. You don’t have to trap him like that.”
